Blaine is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial practice group.
His practice focuses on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including private and institutional financing, mergers and acquisitions, share and asset purchase transactions, shareholder agreements, corporate reorganizations, commercial real estate and various other general corporate/commercial matters. He also represents individuals and corporations in a range of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, professional liability, fraud, defamation, insurance coverage, mortgage enforcement, real estate, commercial tenancies and shareholder remedies.
Blaine obtained his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. During law school, Blaine worked at Community Legal Aid as a litigator and supervisor while representing clients in the community. Blaine also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with distinction.
Before joining TSC Law as an associate, Blaine worked as an associate at a full-service firm in Toronto and also served as in-house counsel for a large Canadian multinational insurance company. Blaine is a native of Toronto and enjoys taking advantage of all the City has to offer, including its great food, art and theatre and outdoor spaces.
